This is known as positive stress (eustress). Once the challenge has passed, your body returns to balance, stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol decrease, and relaxation follows.
However, when stress continues for too long without sufficient recovery, it can develop into chronic stress (distress). Your resilience becomes overwhelmed by the demands placed upon you, leading to physical, emotional and mental exhaustion.

Losing someone or something important can be one of life's most profound experiences. Every grief journey is unique and is influenced by who you are, your personal history, your relationship with what has been lost and your current life circumstances.
Grief is not limited to the death of a loved one. It may also arise after divorce, the loss of a job, declining health, infertility, life transitions or other significant changes. Sometimes grief becomes prolonged or feels overwhelming, making it difficult to move forward.
At Mani Pura, you will find a warm, safe and compassionate space where your loss is fully acknowledged.
Together we gently explore your grief, allowing room for both sorrow and healing. We work towards restoring the natural movement between loss and recovery, helping you reconnect with yourself and gradually find hope and meaning again.

Family Coaching
When family life becomes challenging and parenting feels overwhelming, professional guidance can help restore calm, structure and connection.
Family coaching takes place in your own familiar environment whenever possible, allowing practical support where daily life actually happens. After an initial assessment of your family's needs, we create a tailored coaching plan together.
Family coaching may help with:
- parenting challenges
- communication within the family
- behavioural or emotional concerns
- establishing healthy routines and boundaries
- reducing stress within the family system
The goal is to strengthen each family member's abilities while creating a more harmonious and supportive home environment.
