About me

My name is Melanie Mulder.

For more than 18 years I have worked with children, families and adults, guiding people through emotional, relational and life challenges.

Alongside my professional background as a psychosocial counsellor, I have also experienced burnout myself. That personal journey deepened my understanding of resilience, recovery and the importance of feeling truly heard.

Over the years I have specialised in stress and burnout, trauma, grief, family dynamics, relationship counselling and personal development. I combine evidence-informed counselling with systemic thinking, body awareness and a warm, authentic approach.

I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional education, supervision and specialised training, ensuring that every client receives thoughtful, high-quality support.

Above all, I believe that healing begins where people feel safe enough to breathe, reflect and simply be themselves.

Because true hospitality begins long before someone feels welcome—it begins when someone feels at home.
