Trauma & Emotional Support

"No intervention that takes power away from the survivor can possibly foster her recovery, no matter how much it appears to be in her immediate best interest." ~ Judith Herman

Trauma & emotional Support

When life feels overwhelming

Stress, grief and trauma can affect every part of your life. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted or disconnected from yourself and others.

Healing begins by understanding what lies beneath the surface.

Together, we explore your experiences, emotions and patterns at a pace that feels safe and respectful. Every coaching journey is tailored to your unique needs.

Alongside reflective conversation, I use body-oriented methods such as Brainspotting and bilateral stimulation to help regulate the nervous system, process difficult experiences and create lasting change.

A body-oriented approach

Trauma is not only stored in our thoughts, but also in our bodies.

By combining conversation with body-oriented methods, we create space for both insight and emotional processing.

Rather than simply managing symptoms, the focus is on strengthening resilience, restoring balance and reconnecting with yourself.

Areas of support

Brainspotting & Trauma Tap Release

Brainspotting

"Where you look affects how you feel."
— David Grand

Brainspotting is a body-based therapeutic approach that helps process trauma, emotional pain and deeply rooted patterns. It works with the brain's natural ability to access experiences that often lie beyond conscious awareness and words.

A brainspot is an eye position connected to an emotionally or physically stored experience. By gently focusing on this point, the brain can process unresolved experiences in a safe and natural way.

Brainspotting can help with:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Grief and loss
  • Chronic stress
  • Emotional overwhelm
  • Negative self-beliefs
  • Performance blocks
  • Physical tension related to stress

Each session is adapted to your pace and your personal needs.

Trauma Tap Release

Trauma Tap Release is a gentle body-based method inspired by bilateral stimulation, similar to principles used in EMDR.

Instead of eye movements, alternating tapping on the left and right side of the body stimulates communication between both hemispheres of the brain. This supports the natural processing of overwhelming experiences and emotions.

Trauma Tap Release may help with:

  • Trauma recovery
  • Anxiety
  • Chronic stress
  • Emotional regulation
  • Persistent negative thoughts
  • Chronic pain related to stress
  • Building resilience

The method is gentle, accessible and can easily be integrated into coaching sessions.

Somatic Yin Therapy & Bodydrumrelease

Somatic Yin Therapy

combines trauma-sensitive Yin Yoga, breathwork, focusing and somatic awareness.

It is especially suitable for people experiencing chronic stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm or persistent tension in the body.

During the session you remain in gentle supported postures for several minutes while using the breath to create space in the connective tissue and nervous system.

The body is given time to slow down, release stored tension and restore balance.

Every session is tailored to your personal question or needs.

Body Drum Release

Body Drum Release is a gentle body-oriented therapy using rhythmic bilateral tapping.

Alternating pressure on the left and right side of the body stimulates both brain hemispheres and helps shift attention from thinking into feeling.

Many people experience:

  • Deep relaxation
  • Emotional release
  • Greater body awareness
  • Increased mental clarity
  • Better sleep
  • Reduced stress

The treatment supports the nervous system in processing stress and integrating experiences in a natural way.

Somatic Integration Session

Sometimes you understand exactly what is happening, yet your body continues to react.

You recognise the patterns, but tension, emotions or physical sensations remain.

A Somatic Integration Session focuses on what your body is communicating.

Together we slow down and create space for your nervous system to process what words alone cannot reach.

Sessions may include techniques such as:

  • Focusing
  • Breathwork
  • Brainspotting
  • Bilateral stimulation
  • Body awareness
  • Somatic inquiry
  • Trauma-sensitive methods

Every session is unique and adapted to your personal needs.
